The Gehlen Catholic football team will have to wait even longer for its first home game of the season as MMCRU has announced it will have to forfeit its scheduled Friday, Sept. 27, contest due to a lack of healthy players.

Delays in the installation of new turf at Lorenzen Field in LeMars forced the Jays to play their first four games of the season on the road. With Friday's home game called off, the Jays will not play in LeMars this year until Oct. 11 against South O'Brien.

Gehlen Catholic also is scheduled to play at home on Oct. 18 against Hinton.
