There are so very many ways to enjoy strawberries, but none better than straight from the garden, warm and ripe.

If your trip to the strawberry patch resulted in very many berries, try one of these tasty desserts — varying from super simple to a bit more involved.

We think you’ll find them very, berry delicious.

Strawberry Cheesecake Jars


Don't have small canning jars? Substitute clear glass bowls.

■ 8 full sheet graham crackers

■ 3 tablespoons butter

■ 3 tablespoons sugar

■ 12 ounces fresh strawberries

■ 1 8-ounce package cream cheese

■ 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

■ ½ cup white sugar

■ ½ cup heavy cream, whipped



Crush graham crackers with rolling pin. Melt butter in small bowl, add the crumbs and toss.

Divide mixture evenly between the canning jars or bowls. Press gently but do not pack the mixture.

Set aside six whole berries for garnish. Dice remaining berries.

With electric mixer, beat together the cream cheese, lemon juice and ½ cup sugar. Add the berries and beat again to break up slightly.

In separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form.

Fold whipped cream and cream cheese mixtures together.

Divide mixture between the jars, cover with lids and chill for at least 2 hours. Garnish with the reserved berries to serve.
