KELSEYVILLE, CA—Veronica (Vonnie) Hale Aldrich, 93, died peacefully May 14, 2018, in Kelseyville, CA, with her daughter Debbie by her side.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawarden. Burial will follow immediately after at Grace Hill Cemetery, next to her loving husband where she always wanted to be.
Vonnie was born Nov. 12, 1924, in Cresaptown, MD, to George E. and Geraldine B. Robinette.
Vonnie touched so many lives during her time here on earth and will be missed greatly by all who knew her. As for her children, she greatly enriched the lives of each and every one of them, especially the example she set through her faith. Vonnie’s and her husband Gene’s faith was always first and foremost. She was an angel on earth.
She is survived by daughter Debra (Tim) Lowell of Kelseyville, CA; son Tommy (Ava) Hale of Yazoo City, MS; daughter Jo Ann (Charles) Aldrich Lundfelt of Stephenson, WA; daughter Janet (Jamie) Ackerman of Coeur d’Alene, ID; son Mark Aldrich of Aliso Viejo, CA; daughter Theresa Jene Aldrich of Fort Bragg, CA; grandchildren: Thomas F. (Nena) Hale III of Ft. Irwim, CA; Angelina (Russ) Jones of Winchester, CA; Patricia Hale Taillon of Wake Forest, NC; Stephanie Arrington of Starkville, MS; Robin (Eric) Cunningham of Starkville, MS; Jennifer (Josie) Kraft of Yazoo City, MS; Reid Hale of Yazoo City, MS; Stuart Hale of Yazoo City, MS; Michael Shai Hearn of Seattle, WA; Patrick Aaron (Micah) Hale of Nice, CA; James (Keiko) Goodman of Santa Rosa, CA; Allison (Mario) Cordaro of Trabuco Canyon, CA; Grant (Colleen) Aldrich of Portland, OR; Wesley Ackerman of Oxnard, CA; James Loomis of Coeur d’Alene, ID; Tim (Michele) Lowell, Jr of Nice, CA; Jennifer (Cory) Cann of Kelseyville, CA; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene C. Aldrich, a sister Aurelia Meinecke and a son Michael L. Hale of Mississippi.
