SIOUX CENTER—Piersen “Pete” Vander Plaats, 77, Sioux Center, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at Royale Meadows Care Center in Sioux Center. A private immediate family funeral service will be Friday, Sept. 18, at Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Visitation without family present will be 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center.
