ROCK VALLEY—A 27-year-old rural Rock Valley woman was arrested on a charge of child endangerment after authorities investigated a tip that she was smoking marijuana at her residence.
The Rock Valley Police Department reported receiving a Text-A-Tip about 11 p.m. Thursday, May 16, about marijuana being smoked at 2624 320th St. located about a mile southeast of Rock Valley.
The investigating officer reported being able to smell marijuana coming from the home.
Molly Lynn Negaard told the officer her daughter was sleeping in a bedroom, and she admitted smoking marijuana while her daughter was in the other room, according to court documents.
Negaard also had been drinking alcohol. Drug paraphernalia and marijuana in baggies also were found in the living room.
