ORANGE CITY—A 27-year-old Orange City man was arrested about 10:50 p.m. Thursday, June 3, on a charge of public intoxication.

The arrest of Carlos Perez-Salas stemmed from officers witnessing him urinating while walking down the sidewalk along Albany Avenue Southeast in front of American Reformed Church, according to the Orange City Police Department.

Perez-Salas admitted to drinking alcohol and being drunk, according to the incident report.

He also failed preliminary sobriety tests.
