Washington Avenue reports in Sheldon

Washington Avenue in Sheldon will be closed for repairs from East Ninth Street to East Seventh Street starting the week of May 17. The project will last about three weeks, according to Sheldon Public Works Director Todd Uhl.

SHELDON—A portion of Washington Avenue in Sheldon will be closed for repairs starting either Tuesday or Wednesday, May 19-20, according to public works director Todd Uhl.

The road will be closed from East Ninth Street to the south driveway of the Sheldon Christian Retirement Home.

Uhl expects the project to take about three weeks.

“We understand that this construction will be an inconvenience but hope that you enjoy the new road when it is complete,” he said.
