BOYDEN—Two people received minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash about 3:55 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, one mile east of Boyden.

Fifty-nine-year-old Bonnie Jean Boone of Sheldon was driving east on Highway 18 when she lost control of her 2004 Ford Ranger, which entered the south ditch, crossed Kingbird Avenue, struck a stop sign and rolled, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

Boone and a passenger were transported by the Boyden Ambulance to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center.

Boone was cited for failure to maintain control of her vehicle, which received an estimated $10,000 damage.
