RITTER—Both drivers complained of injuries but neither was transported for medical care following a collision about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in Ritter.
Seventy-four-year-old Donald Henry Mulder of Ireton was driving west on 280th Street when he ran the stop sign at the Northwest Boulevard intersection due to sun being in his eyes, he told the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.

Mulder was cited with failure to obey a stop sign.
His vehicle was totaled.
The Winter vehicle received an estimated $2,400 damage.
The camera/light pole received an estimated $200 damage.
