HARTLEY—Two people face drug-related charges following a traffic stop about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, near Hartley.
Thirty-year-old Joshua Robert Currier of Spencer was the driver of a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer stopped on the 6900 mile of Highway 18 about two miles east of Hartley by an O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office deputy.
He was found in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, THC wax and two drug scales, according to the incident report.
A passenger, 29-year-old Amber Liane Johme of Sioux City, was found in possession of marijuana, THC wax and a drug scale.
Currier was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance — marijuana — third or subsequent offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while his license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.
Johme was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance — marijuana — third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
