SIOUX FALLS, SD—Triumphant Quartet of Tennessee will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at First Church in Sioux Falls, SD.
The group consistently has been voted America’s favorite Southern Gospel quartet by Gospel music fans and has appeared on the Bill Gaither “Homecoming” video series.
Members of Triumphant Quartet of Tennessee are lead singer Clayton Inman, tenor David Sutton, baritone Scott Inman and bass Eric Bennett, four friends who have been singing together since 2003.
Triumphant Quartet also has a No. 1 song, “Even Me,” on the radio charts.
The concert is being presented by Corvex Productions based in Sioux Falls.
Corvex was started more than 10 years ago as a ministry to bring quality Gospel music to the area.
“We became aware that the older generation in our region were usually overlooked by other concert promoters and tours,” said Susie Cromwell of Corvex Productions.
She said there many concerts that feature contemporary Christian music that is primarily aimed at a younger generation.
The organization felt the need to bring artists to the area that had a message and music geared toward the 40-and-above crowd.
“Although many younger people also enjoy this genre of Christian music, we have found that many people will travel from as far as Denver to Minneapolis to hear these artists,” Cromwell said. “We consistently have people attending from Canada as well as the five-state region.”
Tickets for the concert are available by calling Corvex Productions at 605-359-7284, at Crossroads Book & Music at 1220 W 41st St. or by visiting the website iTickets.com.
