SHELDON—A 36-year-old Sheldon man was arrested about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, stemming from a call about suspicious people at a residence on the 4300 mile of 340th Street about three miles southwest of Sheldon.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reported Jonathan Jay Koerselman and another person entered onto a residential property after their three-wheeler became disabled.

The two individual were at the residence trying to ask for gas, according to the incident report.

Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that Koerselman had been operating a Honda all-terrain vehicle on the roadway and determined his driver’s license was barred.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred driver’s license.
