SIBLEY—A 48-year-old Sibley woman was arrested for public intoxication and interference with official acts after the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of a person sleeping under a wooden bridge on Ed Winkel Memorial Trail by the old cement plant in Sibley about 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 31.
Deputies found Donna Patricia MacMain sleeping in the woods just off the trail.
She had bloodshot, watery eyes; slurred speech; and smelled of alcohol.
When asked to walk, MacMain refused and was resistant and had to be drug out of the woods and placed into a patrol car.
MacMain attempted to kick one of the deputies in the process, according to court documents.
