INWOOD—A 29-year-old Sioux Falls, SD, man was arrested about 5:45 p.m. Monday, July 6, in Inwood on charges of second-offense operating while under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol.
The arrest of Dustin Lee Fox stemmed from an investigation into a report of a highly intoxicated person parked in a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan in the caller’s driveway on East Diagonal Street in Inwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found Fox to have bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. He was unstable on his feet, barely able to walk and very sluggish, according to court documents.
Fox said he had consumed a pint of vodka.
