SIOUX CENTER—A 21-year-old Sioux Center man was arrested about 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence.
The arrest of Trevor Dean Kollis stemmed from the stop of a 2008 Ford Expedition for not having a front license plate while traveling along Fourth Avenue Northeast, according to the Sioux Center Police Department.
Kollis had bloodshot, watery eyes; impaired balance; slurred speech; and the odor of an alcoholic beverage and failed preliminary sobriety tests.
He admitted to drinking two beers, according to the incident report.
