SIBLEY—A 19-year-old Sibley man was arrested about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, on a charge of assault.
The arrest of Noah Herrmann stemmed from a report on “an unruly child” at a residence on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Herrmann was found sitting outside the house.
While the deputy was talking to Herrmann, a female came out of the house. She had bruising and swelling to the right half of her face.
Herrmann told the deputy he had hit the female “quite a few times,” according to the incident report.
Herrmann pleaded guilty the next day in Osceola County District Court in Sibley and was ordered to pay a fine of $105, plus $75.75 in court-related costs.
