SIBLEY—Two Sibley residents have been cited on charges of operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and first-offense trespassing.
The citing of 23-year-old Wade Ira Shannon Blakeman and 20-year-old Shayla Mae Ann Phillips stemmed from an incident late Friday night, April 9, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The two allegedly went onto the property of D&H Poultry in Sibley, entered several cars and then drove off in a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix that did not belong to them, according to the incident report.
They later abandoned the car with the keys in it in the parking lot of Walmart in Worthington, MN.
Charges were filed April 26 on Blakeman and April 27 on Phillips.
