SIBLEY—A 44-year-old Sibley man was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault resulting in injury or mental illness.
The arrest of Allen Gorden Rolfes stemmed from an investigation into a 911 call in which the caller stated his father was assaulting him at their residence at 1218 Sixth St. N.E., according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The son told authorities his father had been banging on his bedroom door, trying to get in because he wanted the son to go and get toilet paper, according to court documents.
When the son said he was not going, the father pushed the door open.
The two then fell into a mirror on the wall and suffered injuries from the mirror breaking, according to court documents.
A no contact order also was issued against Rolfes with his son.
