SHELDON—A Sheldon woman is facing multiple charges for a string of allegations in the community, including theft and drug possession.
The Sheldon Police Department reported the arrest of 38-year-old Kristen Marie Schaffer on Saturday, Aug. 3.
On Friday, Aug. 2, Schaffer was found in possession of a U.S. Army backpack, boots, a black bag and dog tags, according to court documents. Officers contacted the name of the person listed on the dog tags who confirmed the items, valued at $500, belonged to him.
The items had been removed from a vehicle.
When officers executed a search warrant on Chevy Silverado pickup to location those items, they also found a black bag that contained a metal container, the contents of which were three glass pipes used to smoke methamphetamine.
The metal contained had Schaffer’s name on it and the bag also contained her Social Security card and birth certificate.
Also on Friday, Aug. 2, Schaffer allegedly entered an occupied residence and took a tablet and some household items without consent.
Officers also found Schaffer in possession of a $200 pressure washer wand that was determined to be the property of Dairy Dandy.
