SHELDON—A 24-year-old Sheldon woman was arrested about 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, on O’Brien County warrants for manufacturing, delivering or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance — methamphetamine; second-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana; second-offense possession of a controlled substance — Vyvanse; second-offense possession of a controlled substance — dextroamphetamine; unlawful possession of prescription drugs; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest of Sydnee Lynn Johnson stemmed from the execution of a search warrant about 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at her residence at 1316 S. Third Ave., according to the Sheldon Police Department.

Multiple small baggies with a white crystalline substance, multiple scales, numerous amounts of empty baggies and a black magnetic box were found in her bedroom. All the items were field tested for methamphetamine and all items tested positive for meth. All the items are commonly used in selling and transporting drugs, according to the incident report.

Law enforcement also found a small baggie of marijuana, containers of pills identified as Vyvanse and dextroamphetamine, and a glass meth pipe.

Warrants for her arrest were issued Feb. 27.
