SHELDON—During its regularly scheduled meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Sheldon School District Board of Education will discuss roof maintenance and repair work that needs to be done at the Sheldon High School.
According to the meeting agenda, the roofing company Tremco recently conducted a roof inspection at the high school. Although it found the overall condition to be good, the company identified repairs needed to take place.
The roof report will be distributed to school board members at the meeting.
Other items on the school board's meeting agenda include:
- Discussion of new furniture and design options for the high school cafeteria.
- Approving open enrollment applications.
- Approving teacher preparation program agreements with the University of South Dakota and Fort Hays State University.
- Authorizing the district to dispose of equipment deemed obsolete or no longer needed.
