HULL—A 45-year-old Kansas City, MO, man was arrested about 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence in Hull.
The arrest of Nickolas John Davis stemmed from a call about him being observed “acting unusually” after backing a 2017 Freightliner semi up to a loading dock at Agropur, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon investigation, deputies discovered Davis had fallen and seemed disoriented.
Davis said he had taken an excessive amount of medication, causing him to be drowsy, dizzy, confused and nervous, according to court documents.
He was unable to communicate effectively and his balance was bad.
Davis was transported by the Hull Ambulance to Sioux Center Health, where he was cleared of any medical ailments.
