HAWARDEN—Two Hawarden men were arrested Sunday, Feb. 9, following the execution of a search warrant at 513 10th St., according to the Hawarden Police Department.

Evidence was found in relation to a sexual assault on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and resulted in the arrest of 25-year-old Luis Alejandro Flores on a charge of third-degree sexual abuse.

A no contact order later was issued against him with the woman.

Items also were discovered that led to the arrest of 20-year-old Aden Zane Waterman on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of the social hosting ordinance in the city of Hawarden by permitting underage drinking and drug use at the residence, according to court documents.
