SHELDON—Like many agencies, the Sheldon Community Ambulance Team has upped its use of personal-protective equipment during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to SCAT assistant director Krysten Haan, for the most part the service has most of the PPE it needs but it could run short of gowns soon.

She’s asking people consider sewing and donating cloth gowns made of polyester or polyester-cotton fabrics to SCAT.
