SIOUX CENTER—A Sioux Center 18-year-old was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 11, on a charge of supplying alcohol to persons under 21 by a person 18-20 years old.

The arrest of Parker Jay Pennings stemmed from a Dec. 30 incident in which he “notified people under the legal age that he had alcohol hiding in a specific location and that they may help themselves,” according to the Sioux Center Police Department complaint report.

“The alcohol was located by the people under legal age where the defendant had described and they consumed it,” the report stated. “The defendant also physically brought the people under legal age a second bottle of alcohol.”
