ROCK VALLEY—A 33-year-old Rock Valley woman was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence.

The arrest of Halee Grace Bleek stemmed from a motorist who reported Bliek was driving her vehicle in a dangerous manner on Highway 18 west of Rock Valley, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.

The caller said the vehicle, a 2012 Buick Enclave, was all over the road and it looked as if it had been in a ditch.

The Buick then pulled over on the side of the highway and the motorist was able to get the keys from the vehicle so Bliek could not drive off since she appeared to be impaired, according to the incident report.

Law enforcement arrived and observed signs of impairment.

The Sioux County drug recognition expert performed an evaluation and found Bliek to be impaired by drugs.
