SANBORN—A 37-year-old Primghar woman was arrested about 8 a.m. Monday, March 6, in Sanborn on charges of first-offense operating while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while her license was denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.

The arrest of Kelli Michelle Biller stemmed from her being found leaning over the steering wheel of her vehicle while it was running and parked at Casey’s General Store in Sanborn, according to the Sanborn Police Department.

She failed field sobriety tests, and she was evaluated by a drug recognition expert, who determined she was impaired.

Biller also admitted to taking a hydrocodone earlier, and a hypodermic needle was found in her possession, according to the incident report.
