OKOBOJI—“Overcomer of Okoboji” will return for its seventh year on a virtual platform with its newest mini-conference titled, “Hope in Christ: Coffee and Conversation,” an inspirational and uplifting non-denominational Christian women’s event for women of all ages and all faiths.

The event — which will be virtual for the first time since the ministry started in 2015 — will take place 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 27.

The theme is based on Psalm 23:5: “My cup overflows with your blessings.”

The two-hour format will accommodate busy schedules, giving women a strong dose of reality-based spirituality and inspiration in a short time, from the comfort of their own homes.

Leading keynote speaker will be a Midwest favorite, Pat McGill, founder and president of McGill Speaking and Training Resources of Beresford, SD. She will bring her unique brand of humor and spirituality with her presentation titled, “Thoughts From Pat . . . About God, a Carrot, an Egg and a Coffee Bean.”

Julie Clark Lingen, speaker, life coach and award-winning author from Sioux Falls, SD, will entertain and uplift women with her keynote presentation titled, “Fill Your Cup: Pouring Your Heart Into Life and Living Without Regrets.” She helps women strive to be more positive and to consciously make each day a good day through choices and attitudes that inspire us to live the rest of our life without regrets.

Closing keynoter will be Karen Schwaller, owner of Schwaller Agri-Stories of Milford. She is the author of three books and is an area agricultural, spiritual and women’s speaker who shares stories of humor and womanhood, motherhood, tragedy and triumph. Schwaller enjoys entertaining and uplifting women through a blend of her own personal experiences and humorous and heartfelt insights.
