LARCHWOOD—A 32-year-old Larchwood man was arrested about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, on a charge of first-offense consumption of alcohol in a public place.
The arrest of Koleby Joseph Harshfield stemmed for law enforcement responding to a residence in Larchwood after a caller said he had received a phone call from Harshfield in which he said “I’m going to . . . murder you,” according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
The resident then heard a loud bang outside of his home and found his garbage can had been thrown against his front door.
Harshfield was found walking near the resident’s home while carrying two mixed alcoholic drinks.
He also showed signs of intoxication, according to the incident report.
