OCHEYEDAN—A 56-year-old Milford man was arrested about 9:10 p.m. Friday, March 3, near Ocheyedan on charges of second-offense possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine and marijuana; manufacturing, delivering or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance — methamphetamine; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; and failure to affix a drug stamp.

The arrest of Thomas Junior Dotson stemmed from the stop of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze for speeding and an equipment violation on Highway 9 at the Starling Avenue intersection about three miles northwest of Ocheyedan, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

The odor of marijuana was detected, and marijuana shake was observed on Dotson’s leg.

A search of the vehicle located 18 grams of meth, 7 grams of marijuana, a meth pipe, rolling papers and a scale.
