SHELDON—A 59-year-old Sheldon man was arrested about 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in Sheldon on a charge violation of a no contact/protective order.
The arrest of Gary Ray Koerselman stemmed from a call from a Sheldon woman who he is not to have contact with, according to the Sheldon Police Department.
The woman said Koerselman was at her residence after forcing his way in through the garage walk-in door.
Police found Koerselman in the kitchen, putting groceries away and yelling at the woman to get out of his house.
Koerselman had been ordered not to have contact with the woman after he was arrested for domestic abuse assault in early January.
This marks the fifth time he has violated the no contact order since then, according to court records.
