LARCHWOOD—A 27-year-old Sioux Falls, SD, man was cited Monday, June 22, on a charge of gambling — false statement on application.
The citing of Anthony Stevenray Paulsen stemmed from an application to Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort northwest of Larchwood, according to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
Paulsen completed and signed an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission license application for a gaming license on Feb. 28.
The DCI reported Paulsen “knowingly provided false information on the application by not reveling convictions of criminal activity/offenses on his license application” when a required background investigation revealed eight convictions outside of traffic offenses.
Paulsen also signed the “‘Certification Statement,’ claiming the application was true/correct.”
