CHATSWORTH—A 37-year-old Wakonda, SD, man was arrested about 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Chatsworth on charges of third-offense operating while under the influence, possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine — third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest of Steven Gene Lundgren stemmed from a 2004 Toyota Camry found stopped in the middle of North Street near the intersection with Beech Avenue in Chatsworth, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
Lundgren was passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle in drive and his foot on the gas pedal.
He was found in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia and admitted to using drugs that day, according to the incident report.
Lundgren failed preliminary sobriety tests.
