Magician to give free NWC show April 9

ORANGE CITY—John Michael Hinton, a magician who was featured on The CW hit show “Penn & Teller: Fool Us,” will give a free performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 9, at Northwestern College’s Christ Chapel in Orange City.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for students, 7:10 p.m. for the community.

Driven by a passion to encourage people to embrace joy and find purpose, Hinton incorporates a unique mix of illusion, storytelling and humor in his shows. His style of magic uses everyday objects to accomplish impossible feats.

Hinton also will speak at 10:05 a.m. Friday, April 9, at Northwestern’s chapel service.
