ORANGE CITY—Former Sioux County sheriff Jim Schwiesow wants his job back. The 74-year-old Orange City resident has announced his write-in candidacy for the county’s top law-making spot in the Nov. 6 general election. Schwiesow is seeking his eighth four-year term as county sheriff, a position he retired from in 2004.
