IRETON—One person was injured in a collision about 7 a.m. Thursday, June 20, at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and 510th Street, five miles southeast of Ireton.
Thirty-four-year-old Brody Allen Nohava of LeMars, was driving a 2008 Peterbilt semi pulling a grain trailer west on 510th Street when his trailer was struck by a southbound 2006 Chrysler Town & Country minivan driven by 61-year-old Stanley Dean Meyer of Ireton, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
Meyer was transported by the Ireton Ambulance to Orange City Area Health System.
The grain trailer received an estimated $1,500 damage.
The minivan received an estimated $6,000 damage.
