SIOUX CENTER—A 25-year-old Hull man was arrested about 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, on charges of first-offense operating while under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in Sioux Center.
The arrest of Walter Marino Gonzalez-Juarez stemmed from a report 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier being driven erratically, according to the Sioux Center Police Department.
An officer observed a moving violation and pulled the vehicle over near the intersection of North Main Avenue and 12th Street Northeast.
Gonzalez-Juarez failed preliminary field sobriety tests and possessed open containers of an alcoholic beverage, according to court documents.
He also was cited for driving the wrong way on a highway, not having a valid driver’s license and operating a non-registered vehicle.
