HOSPERS—An 18-year-old was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, on a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor in Hospers.
The arrest of Jesus Efrain Soto-Gonzalez stemmed from a report of a disturbance at 203 Fifth Ave. N. in Hospers, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon further investigation, deputies discovered people under the age of 21 who had consumed alcohol.
Soto-Gonzalez was charged providing a place for people under the age of 18 to drink alcohol unlawfully and providing money to another person to purchase alcohol so that they could consume the alcohol at his residence.
A female juvenile also was cited into Juvenile Court for underage possession of alcohol.
The case remains under investigation.
