HOSPERS—A 46-year-old Hospers man faces multiple drug-related charges following a drug bust at his residence Thursday evening, April 29.

The arrest of Lawrence John Hopcroft III stemmed from a search warrant executed at 305 Second Ave. S. about 9 p.m., according to the Orange City Police Department.

Authorities found him to be in possession of a glass jar containing marijuana, a plastic bag with methamphetamine residue, a digital scale with methamphetamine residue, three glass pipes with methamphetamine residue, a glass bong, two metal electric vape devices with THC wax, a rubber container with THC wax, a glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue and a marijuana grinder with residue, according to the incident report.

Hopcroft was charged with first-offense possession of a controlled substance — methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance — cannabidiol — third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
