HULL—A 25-year-old Hawarden woman was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, March 2, near Hull.
The arrest of Jessica Nicole Chinn stemmed from a report of a disturbance earlier outside a business in Sioux Center, according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
Following the dispute, Chinn and others left the area in a vehicle and were not immediately located.
Later, a deputy located the vehicle and stopped it at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and 330th Street, two miles southwest of Hull.
Upon further investigation it was determined that no assault had taken place in the earlier disturbance.
However, the deputy discovered a needle that had been used to inject methamphetamine in Chinn’s possession.
