HARRIS—A 29-year-old Harris man was arrested about 11 p.m. Friday, April 30, on charges of disorderly conduct — loud or raucous noise, public intoxication and assault on persons in certain occupations.
The arrest of Jacob Alyn Naviaux stemmed from him repeatedly yelling and screaming in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 118 W. Osceola Ave. in Harris, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Naviaux had the odor of an alcoholic beverage and was told to stay inside for the evening and stop yelling in the parking lot, but he continued to do so, according to the incident report.
He was placed under arrest and then “made repeated remarks regarding causing serious harm and death to the law enforcement officer after being told on multiple occasions to stop,” according to the incident report.
Naviaux also “made repeated remarks regarding what would happen when he was taken out of handcuffs.”
