ROCK RAPIDS—A 30-year-old Rock Rapids man was arrested about 6:15 p.m. Thursday, July 9, on charges of dominion/control of firearm/offensive weapon by felon, first-offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest of Kyle Eugene Wilkerson stemmed from a probation compliance check, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
During the check, the probation officer located multiple boxes of .22 ammunition and noticed items of drug paraphernalia found in plain view.
The paraphernalia consisted of two dab pens containing marijuana wax and burnt marijuana wax residue. Wilkerson admitted to smoking out of the items, according to court documents.
