SIOUX CENTER—A 39-year-old Sioux City woman was arrested about 4:45 a.m. Friday, April 30, for allegedly assaulting another employee at a Sioux Center business.
The arrest of Leyma Ortega-Morales stemmed from a report of a disturbance at Perdue Premium Meat Co., according to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office
Upon investigation, authorities determined Ortega Morales assaulted another female employee.
Ortega-Morales was charged with assault.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Sioux Center Police Department.
