SHELDON—A 63-year-old Sheldon man faces drug-related charges in connection with a one-vehicle crash about 4:15 p.m. Saturday, July 24, about three miles northeast of Sheldon.
Kevin Glen Anderson was driving south on the 3100 mile of Olive Avenue when he lost control of his 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, which entered the west ditch of the gravel road and rolled several times, according to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.
He was transported by the Sheldon Community Ambulance Team to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center.
His vehicle received an estimated $5,000 damage.
Anderson was found in possession of marijuana and a multicolored dugout, and on Sunday, Sept. 5, he was cited on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
