PAULLINA—A 20-year-old Orange City man was arrested Monday, Jan. 24, in Paullina on a charge of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon.

The arrest of Santana Paul Serr stemmed from him going to a Paullina residence with “the only purpose of getting into a physical fight” with the individual at about 7:30 p.m. that day, according to the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office.

Serr was in possession of a blowback CO2-powered BB gun modeled after a Glock brand pistol during the incident.

A no contact order was issued against Serr with the individual.
