Collision north of Ireton

Sioux County Sheriff's Office investigate a two-vehicle collision Tuesday evening, July 9, at the intersection of Eagle Avenue and Highway 10, one-mile north of Ireton.

IRETON—After being paged for auto aid for a call in Hawarden at Hillcrest Healthcare Services and Mica Hill Estates, Ireton Fire and Rescue came upon an accident and were paged shortly after 6:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, to respond to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of K30 and Highway 10.

Upon arrival the fire department found the stop sign at the intersection had been completely ran over.

The stop sign at the intersection of K30 and Highway 12 was run over during an accident Tuesday evening by Ireton.

No injuries were reported, according to Ireton fire chief Richard Steckelberg.
