save the day

PJ Masks Live! comes to Clay County

A set of pint-size super heroes will soon take the stage in Spencer.

The Clay County Fair & Events Center is hosting PJ Masks Live! at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, with tickets priced in the $30-$60 range.

Once the show starts, the audience will get to help their favorite super heroes; Catboy, Owlette and Gekko, solve mysteries and save the day.

This live musical show is based on the immensely popular “PJ Masks” animated series on the Disney Junior channel.

“It’s January and it’s cold outside and there’s not always a lot to do with your kids, so this was a great opportunity for us to bring something in that people could bring their little ones to and get them up and moving around,” said Andrea Wiesenmeyer, marketing director for the Clay County Fair.

Yes indeed, audience members will get the chance to interact with the PJ Masks.

“From what I understand the kids will dance and help fight crime throughout the whole thing, so there is a lot of audience interaction, dancing in the aisles,” Wiesenmeyer said.

The Clay County Fair & Events Center strives to bring in concerts, shows and events for everybody throughout the year.

With an Arch Allies concert and Rock’n Bac’n Brew’n coming soon and geared toward adults, January was the perfect time to bring in something for the whole family to enjoy.

“We want to make sure we’re providing something for everyone and that everyone can come be entertained,” Wiesenmeyer said. “PJ Masks Live! is going to be action-packed with its audience participation and a great opportunity for those kids coming down from their Christmas sugar high to get out of the house and spend a fun afternoon as a family.”
