Grants Management Specialist

Dordt University has a part-time opening for administrative support of our growing extramural grant funding program. This position will be approximately 60%-time, year-round. This individual will assist with grant funding identification, submission processes, and post-award compliancejfinancial reporting. This individual will work independently under the supervision of the Director of Research and Scholarship.

Ideal candidates will have some familiarity with grant funding processes, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be ready to serve as an encourager in facilitating faculty and staff grant funding requests. Other strengths of an ideal candidate include working well with diverse groups, the ability to help develop and refine ideas and maintain focus with multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously. Computer skills including experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, and Adobe are desired. Candidates should have a comfort level in working with numbers and spreadsheets.
