SIBLEY—Working in manufacturing most of her career, Myrtle King had no experience in a customer service or retail career. But after receiving training from Experience Works, a nonprofit senior job training service, King eventually was able to work at New Beginnings, a thrift store sponsored by Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley. The 70-year-old Sibley woman recently was recognized as Iowa’s 2013 Senior Community Service Employment Program Older Worker Champion.
