Jeremy Camp

Songwriter/storyteller Jeremy Camp is returning to RiseFest for the fourth time in 2019. He previously has performed at RiseFest in 2009, 2014 and 2018.

SHELDON—For the third time in as many days, a RiseFest favorite has been announced as returning to perform at the annual Christian music festival in Sheldon.

Songwriter/storyteller Jeremy Camp will make his fourth visit to RiseFest in 2019.

That follows Tuesday’s announcement that Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning Newsboys would be returning to RiseFest and Wednesday’s announcement that singer-songwriter Matt Maher also will be performing again at the festival.

They will join previously announced Christian rock band Skillet, Grammy-winning artist Zach Williams and pop-acoustic worship group I Am They at the festival scheduled for June 21-22 in Sheldon.

“Friday night is going to be awesome! Jeremy Camp and Skillet! We couldn’t be more excited to have Jeremy back,” said Rob Roozeboom, president and founder of Rise Ministries, which organizes RiseFest. “He’s been an outstanding artist over the years at the festival and his heart for ministry lines up so much with ours. I can’t believe Friday will have Matt Maher, Jeremy Camp and Skillet! What a great way to start RiseFest ’19!”

Camp’s latest album, “The Answer,” is his 15th career album in 15 years.

Since his debut album, 2002’s “Stay,” Camp has established himself with numerous landmark accolades, including four Gold albums, more than 4.5 million albums sold, a Grammy nomination, three American Music Awards nominations, multiple ASCAP awards, 41 radio No. 1’s, a Gold digital single (“There Will Be A Day”) and a multi-Platinum DVD.

Camp previously has performed at RiseFest in 2009, 2014 and 2018.
